2010 Primetime Emmy Awards Winners

  • First of, I'm very happy for the Modern Family win for Outstanding Comedy plus Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Eric Stonestreet! I really thought Glee will win especially that the opening number was all about Glee. Anyway, Jane Lynch won and Ryan Murphy for Outstanding Directing for the pilot of Glee, so it's not a total shut out anyway.
  • Jim Parsons won for his iconic role as Sheldon! I never thought it was possible but I'm so over the moon for his win! Bazinga!
  • Woah, Kyra Sedgwick did really pull an upset against expected winner Juliana Margulies!Well The Good Wife didn't come home empty handed with the surprising win by Archie Panjabi for Outstanding Supporting Actress!
  • Bryan Cranston won for the third straight year. Poor Hugh Laurie, this was his best shot for the win. Sad.
  • I'm sure Mad Men deserves the win but Matthew Weiner is just so condescending when he was accepting his awards.
  • The Pacific won Outstanding Mini Series, it was up against one nominee only Return to Cranford so it was an obvious win. But they lost writing and directing nods though to TV movies.
  • Jimmy Fallon is hilarious in this tribute to 24, Law& Order and Lost. Love the Green Day impersonation
  • The Amazing Race lost for the first time! But at least Top Chef won not American Idol! But Survivor should have been nominated
  • The Colbert Report lost again to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. The human centipede reference on the show was a winner for me.
