Billboard Hot 100 (Issue Date: Sept. 11,2010)

"Love The Way You Lie" topped the Hot 100 for the 7th consecutive week while Katy Perry's Teenage Dream climbs to #2. It was a close fight between the two songs and Love The Way You Lie managed to beat Teenage due to strength of airplay and online streaming. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars' "Just The Way You Are" jumps to #6 this week, it's currently #2 on US iTunes and with it's rising airplay, I'm sure this will be Bruno Mars' third straight Top 5 hit and first of his own. Taylor Swift's Mine returns to the top 10 and Ke$ha's earn her 5th Top 10 hit (including 3OH!3's My First Kiss where she was featured that peaked at #9) as "Take it Off" zooms from 16 to 10 this week. Paramore's "The Only Exception" drops from #24 to #28 and looks like it will decline from hereon but nevertheless "The Only Exception" is Paramore's highest peaking single with a peaking at #24 surpassing the #26 peak of Misery Business (lead singer Hayley William's highest charting song is of course Airplanes which peaked at #2). Train's 'If It's Love" manages a new peak climbing from #54 to #47 this week, will it follow the footsteps of "Hey, Soul Sister" ? Let's see. Just as I thought, The Script's Breakeven will drop out this week, it stays put at #50 on its 39th week (songs 20 weeks old and above that it's no longer in the Top 50 will automatically go recurrent unless there's a rerelease or rising airplay due to crossing of radio format). And for the rest of this week's chart thanks to Charly 1300 Forums
