Lady GaGa made a big splash as her new single "Born This Way" made its chart debut on top of the Billboard Hot 100. "Born This Way" had an impressive debut as it was released on radio and for sale last Friday and since the Billboard cutoff is before midnight of Sunday, it accumulated enough points on just three days to debut atop the Hot 100. "Born This Way" sold 448k downloads on its first three days of sale. It's the 3rd biggest opening sales week in Billboard history after Flo Rida's "Right Round" (636K) in February 2009 and Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" (sold 465) in April 2009. But those two songs had full week of sales so if "Born This Way" there's a possibility it could have beaten "Right Round's " record. The first single from Lady GaGa's sophomore album also set records in airplay as it starts on the Radio Songs chart which tracks airplay at #6 with 78.5 audience impression, the biggest since Janet Jackson's "All For You" which debuted at #9 with 70 million audience impression in 2001 as reported at Billboard.com
Last week I predicted Katy Perry's "Firework" will return at #1 thanks to the Glee boost but
