Billboard Hot 100 (Issue Date: March 10, 2012)

Kelly Clarkson's Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) returns atop the Billboard Hot 100 this week after getting the shaft last week and falling to #4. This is the song's 3rd week at #1, the first Clarkson to hit that mark as her previous #1 hits (A Moment Like This & My Life Would Suck Without You) both spent 2 weeks atop the chart. Stronger flip flops with last week's #1 Katy Pery's Part of Me which after debuting at #1 last week falls to #4.

Adele's Set Fire to the Rain holds the #2 spot for the 4th straight week but her two previous #1s which re-entered the top 10 last week falls steep this week (Rolling in the Deep dives #5 to #23 on its 60th week while Someone Like You stumbles #7 to #21 on its 34th week) which is expected as both songs got a boost in sales thanks to the Grammy Awards. fun. and Janelle Monae's We Are Young surges #6-#3, the same position it had two weeks ago. Last week's #3 Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You drops all the way down to #30 as the song's hype has already subsided as the iconic has already been laid to rest. As a reminder, Whitney's old songs re-entered the chart due to Billboard's new policy that old songs/recurrent can now enter the chart as long as they have enough points to be in the top 50.

British boyband The Wanted's Glad You Came flies #23 to #5 this week thanks to a boost it got from a Glee performance. Meanwhile, the other British boyband One Direction falls to to #50 after a strong #28 debut last week with What Makes You Beautiful

This week's top debut comes from rapper B.o.B with his new song So Good entering the chart at #11. The song came close to be the rapper's 5th top 10 hit. He had a string of 3 top hits in 2010 (Nothin' on You at #1, Airplanes at #2 and Magic at #10) and one top 10 hit last year with Strange Clouds at #7 but all those songs had featured artists so So Good is his highest charting solo song. Another "good" song debuted on the chart this week via American Idol Season 4 champ Carrie Underwood's new song Good Girl which enters the chart at #24.

Songs that went recurrent this week are Lady Antebellum's Just a Kiss (42 weeks on the chart, peak: #7) and Hot Chelle Rae's I Like It Like That (20 weeks on the chart, peak: #28)
